Douglass Winthrop is a New York City based SEC registered investment advisor that manages more than $2.5 billion for individuals, families, trusts, and endowments. Piscatello Design Centre has been working with Douglass Winthrop since their inception in 2000, and over the years has designed their brand identity system, stationery program, marketing materials, and website. Our work has also included art directing and producing all photography assets for the website, including the portraits of the leadership and office staff.
Since much of their content is confidential, our concept for the website is to celebrate and feature the people who work at Douglass Winthrop through photography. We also helped art direct and source the images for the Environmental Strategy section and the Contact page.
The logo we designed for them reflects their simple, elegant approach to business. The blue color symbolizes loyalty, strength, wisdom and trust.
The brand identity system we developed for them includes the logotype, colors, typography, and a visual language for charts and graphs. We also designed a full stationery system, marketing documents, custom folders, and a website.
